Serving you your weekly dosage of Hiphop “cool” every Saturday of December, Cultural Infusion and FReeZA are transforming “The Crom” into a New York block party. Host to b-boys and b-girls “breaking” in the “Cypher”, and Houser’s who “Loft” from their light dance steps to floating moves called the “Dolphin”, people of all ages can enjoy the positive music and dance of Hiphop culture that spans 30 years of Hiphop’s collective conscious.

Be part of the Ronald McDonald look-a-likes who sport Apple hats, “Locking” their arms to Rufus Thomas with striped socks. Donned in Zoot-like suits are the finely dressed “Poppers” that do the “Boogaloo” and “Robot” to Roger Troutman and Parliament/Funkadelic. In amongst the madness, Timberland boots stomp to the “boom-bap” of KRS-One and the Wu-tang Clan. Sharing the party vibe with everyone makes you a participant whether you can or cannot dance, so come on down and join the life of the party!

Brought to you by the skills of DJ Wasabi, DJ Vince, DJ B-True are 4 hours of the freshest music that best represents the different era’s in Hiphop’s history. It’s a chain of parties that you don’t want to miss! A real-life, primetime Hiphop music video at your door step, attracting all the underground dance talent of Melbourne and beyond!

Direct from Lama:

Season’s Greetings!

Come check out some of the earliest importers of Hiphop Cultural dance from Sydney!
Originally from Japan and Hong Kong, Triple Rebels are still the Rebels of Hiphop dance from back in the day.

Masaki was one of the first practioners of the ‘Harlem Shake’ dance, as seen on dance videos and AND 1 promo VHS’ (and also one of the first dudes proudly wearing purple!)

They’ll also be performing at the Canon Jamboree and getting loose to the sounds of DJ B.True.
