Presented by Bboy World & On Point Performances, Evolution Australia, is the qualifying event for Evolution in America. The winning crew has the right to represent Australia at the Evolution World Finals in Orlando, Florida, December 2009, along with $2000 AUD prize money.
Date, Time & Cost:
Saturday May 16th 2009.
- Door’s open from 11.30am
- Crew registration begins at 12pm
- Battles start at 1pm.
Ticket prices are $25 at the door, or $20 pre-sale or on the pre-registration list. To get onto the pre-registration list you’ll need to email: dianna@onpointperformers.com.au, before Friday morning.
Format:
8 vs 8 timed crew battles. Starts with elimination battles, and then down to the top 8. Knock out format from the top 8 down.
Venue:
The venue is Clairvaux Mackillop College, located on Klumpp Road, Upper Mount Gravatt, QLD, 4122.
The best way to get to the venue is by car, but if you don’t have transport you can catch the bus. You can catch any bus from the city that travels along the South East Busway. You will need to get off at the Griffith University Station, from there the venue is a 15 minute walk. Use the TransLink Journey Planner to find out which bus will best suit your needs.
