PLATFORM 2 HIP HOP FESTIVAL will be back in March 2009 to take over CarriageWorks' urban jungle with two days of high-powered Hip Hop culture representing Breaking, Graffiti, Beatboxing, MCing and DJing.
Over 50 artists and performers will be featured.

Some of Australia's best breaking crews will battle it out for the Platform 2 title and $1200 prize money. 4 on 4

Main Event from 8:30: Featuring: Mathmatics, KillaQueenz, The Last Kinection, Good Buddha (Killa Live Funk Band) – in theatre.

MAY'S LANE STREET ART PROJECT EXHIBITION | 25 March – 6April
Check out the free exhibition of Australian graffiti from the renowned May's Lane Street Art Project in St Peters. Curated by May's director Tugi Balog, the exhibition will be a jungle of colour and styles in CarriageWorks foyer, featuring old and new panels from legendary street artists of Sydney and around the world.

A demo and competition in the various forms of graffiti featuring some of the true Kings of the artform doing Murals, Throw Ups and Tags. Hosted by graffiti artist Chez and Shime.
