Pete aka Soul Purpose, writes in to tell us all about a new club night in Sydney, at V-Bar on Liverpool Street, from 9pm tonight.
This group is aimed at creating a night where dancers come to dance, share, create, modify, mashup, evolve, collaborate - all in the spirit of getting down.
Our mission is to create a night where the music makes you wanna get up and dance in any way you know how, thus creating a melting-pot of different interpretations and expressions to the same funky anthems.
Rhythm and Blues, Gospel, Soul, Funk, Latin, Hip Hop....these are some of the good things we share.
Breaking, Urban/Funk, Blues and Swing, Hip Hop dancing...STREET!! With a healthy dose of lounge room dancing, and some singing like you're in the shower thrown in for good measure.
