Valentine’s Day is Here! Time for some loving, passion and close contact - with dance! With music to get you in the mood, and (new) romantic lighting, you’d better perform well and remember to protect yourself with the latest moves. Let’s see who can get down with who and get it together at the $2 battle!
If your more of the watching type, get ready to experience their raw, unbridled, emotions through their dance together. Love, Jealousy, Anger, Attraction - Whatever the result, it’s going to be entertaing to watch!
So come down and give Dancekool your valentines day love. We know you want to.
To enter this battle, you must make teams of 2 with one male and one female dancer. This battle is not random, you are free to choose your own partner. Remember to say it with love.
As this is a $2 battle, each team can only consist of one experienced and one inexperienced dancer.
Experienced means has entered any major battle event or has come top 8 in a $2 battle.
Inexperienced means has never entered a battle except for the $2 battle.
Two inexperiencd dancers can enter the battle together. Only 2 experienced dancers are not eligible for entering together.
(You don’t have to be in love with your partner to enter this $2 battle, although we hope to foster meaningful relationships. You also don’t have to enter with your actual partner, we won’t tell anyone.)
Rules:
- $2 Entry for Battlers
- $2 Entry for Audience
- $1 Entry for couples - if you can prove it
- 2 on 2 - All styles
- No elimination round - everyone battles
- Prize the total entry fee of all dancers
- DJ Ipod with DJ Mp3 player
- Some ’special’ romantic music may be included
- List of music with all songs will be uploaded to the website

- Funkstyle: Tony
- Hip Hop/House: Takuro
- Breaking: TBC

- Individual Dancer Names
- Level of Experience of each dancer
- Styles Danced for each dancer
