Dancekool is proud to present a workshop with B-Boy Kreate! Soon to be leaving our shores, now’s the chance to learn from one of the most unique B-boys in Sydney. With numerous credits to his name, Bboy Kreate is here to share his experience and skill with you!
Following B-Boy Kreate’s workshop there will be a open B-boy session at DK Studio, so come down and jam with some of Sydney’s best before they leave!
About Kreate:
Febian Sumaputra Hidranto was given the name Kid Kreate in early 1997, when he first started B-boyin. His first B-boy crew was called Kurrupt Squad and his best friend at the time (Nghi Huynh) gave him the name Kid Kreate.
Later on as he continued pursuing his dancing he was recruited and trained by Virginia's freshest crew at the time called Arrive To Defie, who was led by Xeno; whom is now currently in Street Masters Crew. He was also brought up by Xeno's lil sister Beta, his lil brother Zemex and rest of the ATD members from Virginia (Noem, Lady Venus, Stryde, Wigout, and Crisis). In time as he started to grow with ATD, the other members told him it's time to take away the "Kid" out of the name and rock KREATE only, he did that ever since and the name have stuck and stayed with him since then on.
Kreate have been B-boyin since October 1997 till today and he has travelled to various places around the globe for exhibition battles, crew battles, individual battles, shows, and judged such as Virginia, Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Boston, Miami, California, Australia(Perth,Sydney & Melbourne) Malaysia, Singapore,Switzerland,Taiwan and latest was Sweden.
Kreate was put down with the Lab Ratz Crew in the airport right before he departed from Virginia, he also got put down with Fresh Sox based out of Australia in 2004.
In March 2006, he entered a competition out in Singapore with the 7$ Crew (Ader from Swiss and Rush from Sydney) and eventually got down with the crew. He flew and met the whole 7$ family out in Swiss in 2006 and repping it hard till today.
Indonesia's freshest B-boy jam was also thrown by Kreate and Bboyindo.com which was called "Raw Materials" which already happened twice (2005 & 2006).
Kreate is also the youngest out of the 3 siblings in his family, majors in Film Production. Grew up in Virginia and moved back to Indonesia in June 2003. Kreate also fancies reptiles (Snakes & Crocs), like being in a secluded area, reading mags, reading books about Hip Hop or Sneakers, being alone, listens to funks, soul, jazz, breaks and those that moves him.
